November 26, 2017 - A private lunch (Restaurant Paul Bocuse ***, Collonges au Mont d'Or, France): From the Côte Blonde, 90% Syrah and 10% Viognier. Fresh red berry fruit, elegant and pure style, modern but refined, spicy new oak but no stems, perfect weight (12.5% ABV), violets and slate, polished tannins without any sense of dryness, mineral energy, still a bit tight; long and well-balanced finish. A delightful expression of vigneron and vintage. Accompanied both the Loup en croûte feuilletée, sauce Choron and the cheeses admirably.

September 26, 2017 - Nice dark crimson color. Very reserved nose. Probably should be held for a while. Cool weather wine, low in alcohol, with plenty of black spice, shy dark fruits, and an elegant texture.

August 29, 2015 - Wonderful red fruit nose. Cherry overtones on a tannic base. Great to drink now or over the next 8 years.
