September 28, 2021 - A sentimental gift from mom, and thought for sure this humble Cab would be over the hill by now. But still strutting it’s stuff. Blackberries, olives and cassis join herbal, tobacco and light minty notes. Lovely. Drink now to 2024. Worth Seeking Out.

April 26, 2020 - Deep color. Cherry on the nose, with plenty of black fruits on the palate. Mostly black cherries, some oak and a bit of pepper. Some tannins on the palate but they dissipate quickly on the fruit finish. Not a lot of structure in the finish, but still very drinkable.
Not a lot of acidity when first opened. Allowed to breathe one hour, which didn't hurt, but the wine is generally past its prime and was likely best 18 months ago.

January 10, 2019 - Popped the cork and let it sit for about 1 hour.
On the nose was cherries and red berries.
On the palate is really fruit forward. Alot of cherries. I didn't get any oak like in my first notes. Very smooth tannins and slight acidity.
For the price I paid it was a good wine.

September 20, 2018 - Nice bouquet, with blackberries, menthol and capsicum; lots of blackcurrant, smooth vanilla oak wrapped up in fine tannins. A good fruity finish.

July 19, 2018 - I’ve enjoyed this wine over the years. I prefer it poured through a Vinturi over decanting or pouring it straight out of the bottle. I find it’s smoother that way.
