  March 9, 2024 - (Wineapalooza With Friends.) In spite of its pretty gold leaf label, this offering was a conundrum to the group. It had all the right pieces but didn’t seem to come together over the course of the evening. Nice bdx styling built around a core of red fruits. Was it closed? Needs more time? Will hold remaining bottles. Drink 2026 to 2036.

  August 2, 2022 - Drinking well, may have a few years to go as was better on day 2. Very much a bordeaux style wine. Decent nose, full-bodied but muted fruit. Pairs well with food. Long finish.

  July 4, 2022 - Opened and the layers unfolded immediately. Lovely nose of dark berries. A generous fruit forward start on the pallete but the acidity supported the wine through the mid palette and allowing the finish to linger with variance flavors and silky tannins. Well worth the wait

  May 12, 2022 - Dark red, rich dark berry and spice nose after 30 minutes of airtime. Dense fruit with integrated tannins, some spice and leather providing a velvety smooth mouthfeel, long fruit laden finish. Nice Bordeaux blend from a great Cali vineyard. Should be very good for years ahead.
