August 19, 2021 - Waaay too young, incredibly tannic and only very dark fruit on the palate. 90 for now.

March 29, 2021 - Decanted one hour. Broad-shouldered black fruit and rocky earth on the palate with some mint and slight effervescence. And interesting wine that is still showing very young.

January 25, 2019 - Jean Louis Chave Hermitage Tasting (Wine Watch, Fort Lauderdale, Florida): Much less complexity than the JLC Hermitages. More of a red fruit profile, it had nice warm spices and garrigue to go along with it. This was enjoyable overall, but was overshadowed by the other wines at the tasting.

September 16, 2016 - 94+. Dark. Slightly closed nose. of meat, violets, malt and spice. Opens with air. Wow! Depth. Complexity. Reasonable length. Yet, more to come. Tannic. Wait!
