March 30, 2024 - PnP. Better than expected and my previous bottle. More integrated tannins and bigger, darker fruit. Bordeaux like elements and a silky texture. I really enjoyed!
December 1, 2023 - Decanted 70 minutes. Fisher’s wines are Very good. This is just past its peak. Still good, but drink within next year or two.
September 30, 2023 - 1hr+ decant. Started out better than it finished. Dark red color. Nose of wood, cherries, and subtle pepper/green tones. Wine seemed much higher than the 14.7 OH and was tannic and stringent. Somewhat biting finish. Not my style.
August 29, 2023 - PNP...getting better and better with air....
May 12, 2023 - Definitely decant and give it time to open. Lovely with food.
October 28, 2021 - This is a decent wine, but I felt the Cabernet Franc jumped out a little too much for my tastes.
March 22, 2021 - 2 hour decant, then drank over 2 hours. Very dark color, fruit forward taste with blueberries, cranberry, nutmeg. Light to medium tannin for a cab. Decently long finish, but flavors do not evolve at all. Pretty good, but not remarkable.
October 8, 2020 - Drinking well. Not particularly complex.
May 2, 2020 - 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, with a good chunk of cab franc, Merlot and a touch of petit Verdot. Decanted for 4 hours and it blossomed. Very floral with pepper, vanilla , spice and dark fruits on the nose. On the palate, the mouthfeel is unctuous. After the 4 hour decant, the tannins gave softened, but still able to stand up to a grilled ribeye and baked potato. Finish is long. You can cellar this one for several more years if you like. Still very tannic.
January 18, 2020 - A well constructed Cab, however leans way into the dry side, a little too much for my personal tastes, but if you like a real dry Cab then this is for you.
