November 23, 2023 - Deep red color. Plums and black cherries in the in the nose with notes of spice, floral, leather and some earthiness. Black cherries, spice and some minerality in the flavor. Very well balanced, full bodied with nice acidity, and a long finish. A great Thanksgiving Pinot with turkey.

April 23, 2022 - Disappointingly one dimensional. Bright cherry fruit on the nose and tongue but lacks complexity.

    October 15, 2019 - Very nice indeed!

I disagree with the current CT window which shows it ending in 2020. This wonderful wine is just starting to hit its stride. It has plenty of tannins, acid and fruit to evolve for several more years, at least. I would estimate 2025.

December 31, 2017 - This is a breathtaking wine with a minuscule dollop of sweetness lying atop forest floor, berries, woodsiness, and violet fragrance. Stunning

October 23, 2017 - Like other Hartford Court wines, this has a lot fruit coupled with a flinty minerality not unlike some Cornas or Cote-Rotie. Deep red coloring, lots of fragrances similar to the palate. Great wine for the price.
