March 2, 2024 - This bottle showed a greater sense of decline than previous bottles. Medium golden. Ripe apples, almonds and autumn leaves come through on the nose. The palate is full bodied, round, open-knit without as much acidity as seen in previous bottles. This is probably bottle variation as much as age.

January 23, 2024 - Decanted an hour. One of the best Cali Chards I have tasted. Pure, balanced, rounded, elegant. No sign of decline. 94

July 11, 2023 - definitely ripe and oxidized on the palate, soft and rounded. Some flint here but the nose was not too opened. Much better after decanting and needed more than 40 minutes. Very ripe and sweet and buttery on the nose, and later on really sweet like cotton candy. At 10 years old this was already sliding down past its peak.

April 9, 2022 - Popped and poured. Beautiful shape. Deep, full bodied, layered and complex. This is in early maturity now showing orchard fruit, minerals and a little brioche finishing nice and long. Drink over the next three to five years.

January 21, 2022 - This wine was spectacular. It had a subtle nose that reduced my expectations but it was so delightful and unique on the palate. Oak, pear and orange accented with a whiff of fig and smoke. I just loved this stuff. Only rating it a bit lower because the nose was so subdued.

October 22, 2021 - Popped and poured. Fabulous. Light golden. White flower, lemon, pear and minerals come through. The wine is focused with crisp acidity but at the same time expansive with amazing concentration, depth and sporting a long long finish. Drank alongside a pretty good 2009 chevalier montrachet and this was clearly the superior wine

September 21, 2021 - Popped and poured. Terrific nose. The wine is full bodied, incredibly pure, and layered. Still youthful with a lovely floral nose and flavors of lemon rind, apple, minerals and toast coming through. This is very good but a little heavier in style compared to some other vintages of this I’ve drink at roughly the same state of maturity.
