November 12, 2021 - Drinking beautifully. Opened and let breathe for an hour. Lovely feminine round flavors with boysenberry and apricot notes.

October 31, 2021 - Still has plenty of life left in it but drinking well now. The high percentage of Cab Franc has mellowed and it supper smooth with a medium finish. Decent amount of sediment at the end of the bottle. I have one left and will try in another year to see the difference.

September 27, 2021 - This is developing quite nicely, is drinking wonderfully, and has really come together since the last bottle enjoyed back in 2017. Enjoyed over three days with food. As would be expected based of the Cabernet Franc / Merlot blend, there’s plenty to like: leafy tobacco, chocolate, cherries, raspberries, and mixed herbs. Structure is well integrated and balanced. Should drink well for another 3-5+ years.

July 11, 2021 - Its been a year and a half since I last tasted. This bottle while having the same big lovely dark cherry fruit on the front with a chocolate middle of medium fruits with light tannin on the finish, was elegant and showed layering of the flavors throughout. Much more like I expected. It was easy and quite enjoyable drinking

July 10, 2021 - Drinking well. Nice fruit forward nose, medium long finish. Very little tannin, can age some more, but drinking now. Had with a Ribeye and paired beautifully.

July 3, 2021 - Slow ox for 45 minutes. Intense dark fruit in a smooth, non-layered upfront and middle. The lengthy finish is all about the spice and pepper.

November 9, 2020 - Super smooth and silky but missing structure. Medium bodied with candied red cherry, rose, vanilla and dill. Shortish finish. Not my favorite vintage. 15.3% abv.

September 29, 2020 - Deep purple with dark fruit, baking spice, and a little pepper on the nose. Opens with blackberry and plums, with chocolate, vanilla, and black pepper towards the back end. Medium length finish. Despite the 67% cab franc/33% merlot split, I get more of a new world merlot vibe from this wine. Alcohol is noticeable (15.3% ABV) as well as oak, but I did not find either to be overbearing. Though I tend to enjoy that style more than some others. Probably has at least 10 years of life left.

May 27, 2020 - Black cherries and dark chocolate, strong tannins. Attention getting but this needs more time, still on the burly side.
