November 22, 2023 - Not showing any real signs of age in the glass. Served slightly chilled (cellar temp). Some prior vintages at this age had a bit more “overripe” fruit up front but this one doesn’t. Aged nicely still showing blackberry and some spice with a fairly long finish and lush body. Seems like it’s ina good drinking window right now.

June 26, 2023 - Cork broke but that lento decanting, which no doubt served this still fine zin well. Briar and bramble and wild sage. Delicious. Even at 15.5 didn't get the port notes old Truly often gets.

May 7, 2021 - Still drinking quite nicely but feels like it’s nearing the time to drink up. Dark fruits, mellower than its 15.5% ABV might suggest. Very enjoyable with a grilled hanger steak.

March 3, 2021 - Ripe plums, prunes, and spice. Full-bodied with a medium length finish. Still drinking nicely.

January 31, 2021 - Tasted like plums and chocolate and Christmas spice which is what I love to taste when I’m getting drunk and it’s January and it’s really crappy out. Oh and I was getting roasted cause this big boy has a bite. Love it. So silky and smooth like my old tattered robe that I wear on Christmas morning when I’m gettin drunk with my boy. So dope. Love it.
