January 20, 2024 - Decanted for a couple hours, nose of red and black fruit, with some wood and vanilla. Flavors were similar to the nose, a bit thin on the mid palate and a bit heavy on the tannins on the finish. Overall, not bad, but a bit thin and unbalanced.

June 9, 2023 - Dusted cocoa on the tongue with a hint of blue licorice and a little spice on the backside. Gravelly loam undercoats it all with a lovely full mouthfeel finish. Enjoyed it with a piece of blueberry pie, perfect accompaniment!

February 5, 2021 - Plum, black pepper, black amd dried fruited, spice, earth.
Touch of green pepper.
Tannins are still firm - this is ready to drink now but still has some time.
