August 10, 2019 - Had high hopes for this wine after purchasing it from Jimmy Vasser’s winery and cellaring for 5 years. After having dumped a 2003 Brunello last weekend it’s time to start drinking some of our higher priced bottles.
Colour- very dark though once you get close enough to see through it the colour is lighter than expected telling me the clarity is off a bit.
    Nose-mild cherry and leather
Taste-not the big body Napa Cab I remember tasting when I bought it but lovely. Lots of cherry, spice and cedar with a bit of dried fog.
Lots of tannins that feel great in the mouth.
