  January 2, 2024 - The age, since I had this last, has made a nice improvement. Now a lovely, finely integrated wine that shows balance throughout. Fruit is still bright and tannins have smoothed some. This wine will last a bunch more years!

  August 13, 2023 - Wine has been cellared and is now drinking beautifully. Everyone in my dinner party was impressed and wanted more.

  May 18, 2020 - Very aromatic. Hint of eucalyptus. Flavors of dark fruit, blackberries and some cola. Smooth tannins, some tartness and some heat on the finish (14% ABV). The QPR on this wine is significant.

  January 6, 2018 - Wine just sings that it is from Atlas Peak. It is a bit too sweet for my preference but has a nice dusty fruit on the nose and front. The middle shows up with the sweetness and it tastes just a bit thin in body. The finish shows the oak and a touch of smoke along with a medium, not yet fully developed tight and dry tannin. Good value for an Atlas Peak Cab.
  Commentary: Napa and Sub-AVAs need to wake up to how many 90-94 point Cabs are available at much more economic prices.
