January 5, 2024 - Very solid and enjoyable - can go for a few more years, but why! I did not decant and was not open more than 30 minutes before the NYE crew attacked; my fault.
July 4, 2023 - Same as the 10/2022 tasting note…needs a couple hours of air and in a great spot.

October 16, 2022 - This has really hit a drinking window now…needs 2-3 hours of air after decanting. Best if paired with appropriate food to cut some of the acidity, but can drink well without. The acidity is integrating nicely with a silky smooth mouth feel. A lot of blueberry on the nose and flavor, with blackberry, vanilla, and violets on the nose. Still has an easy five+ years of aging…I’ll hit one a year for my remaining four!

February 15, 2022 - Time to drink at its peak smooth dark fruit. Wonderful nose soft tannins
January 26, 2022 - Big ole fruit bomb. Very tasty bottle but not so interesting on the nose
August 15, 2021 - Now in the drinking window…enough acidity to handle a big steak but also now moving into the elegant phase. Dark chocolate on the nose with cherry, oak, and some mild citrus flavors. Can still go for at least two to three years. Decanted and let breath for 2 1/2 hours.
