August 22, 2015 - Lush and soft. Black cherries and good acidity. Tannins are still good. Oaky. Drink soon.

February 18, 2015 - Continues to improve with age. Very nice wine now with black cherry, good structure and finish, nice acidity to balance deep fruit and some minerality. Silky. Didn't improve over two days so probably at its peak.

June 13, 2012 - Dark red. Black cherry and earth notes. Served to me blind I was sure it was Sangiovese. Dry cherry and earth flavours and a not so tannic but very dry, acid finish. I loved it.

February 27, 2012 - Dark. Earthy nose redolent of mossy forest. A rustic, big, chewy wine and a delicious expression of the varietal. Drinking nicely now, but could be held longer.
