February 17, 2024 - Disclaimer: we sell this wine.
Very nice Chardonnay BdB rendition. Balanced and elegant nose with pear, ripe lime, crushed stones and some sweet pie spices (cinnamon?). The chalk appears on the palate. Beautiful palate with the same qualifiers: balanced and elegant. Nice citrus acidity and chalky minerality, some fruit on the mid-palate and nice grapefruit/citrus rind bitterness on the medium-plus finish. I'm liking this a lot.

December 26, 2023 - Imbottigliamento: 21 luglio 2017. Finale sapido/minerale lungo.

January 22, 2022 - Fresh, good balance, kept on developing with air (last glass on day 2 was the best). Really like the style which is a bit reserved vs other BdB. I will buy more wines from De Sousa.

September 18, 2021 - Golden yellow, almost amber with a plentitude of very small bubbles. Mature, medium(+), clean and fresh nose. Mature yellow-red apples, grey pears, oak, pomerans bitterness. Complexity. A slight sweetness, medium(+) acidity, medium body. Flavours as aromas. Creamy. With some kind of inherent quality, so difficult to put on paper.
Must be one of the best champagnes with age we have tasted, fabulous!
