May 26, 2020 - 13's overall seem to be in a "thinning" funk at the moment...a bit closed but by end of bottle it was showing nicely.
Gonna wait 18mo before I try another.
September 28, 2019 - Nose of bramble, red cherry, slightly under ripe strawberry. Wine is waited more towards fruit though there’s still adequate from palate tannins to give weight and structure.
Upon opening there were faint green notes, but these blew off within 20 to 30 minutes. White pepper, herbs round out the wine. Very pleasant 90 minutes after opening and easy to track on its own.
I don’t envision this improving with age and feel it might be slightly past its peak. Drink up and enjoy

January 13, 2019 - I bought these to put a little age on them. Way to go, past self! Great on day two as well.
December 5, 2018 - A touch better than a bottle back in June, yet showing just a little green, which isn’t really my thing. Best with food. For around $50, there are better options out there.
October 26, 2018 - Clear, deep purple color. Clean nose of pronounced intensity of eucalyptus, black cherry, black plums, cedar, leather and forest floor. Wine is developing. On the palate it is dry with medium acidity, medium plus tannins, high alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus flavor intensity of of black cherries,liquorice, bitter chocolate and leather. The finish is satisfying and medium. Good quality wine, very good now or can be aged. Great QPR!!! Balanced, good finish, good intensity, but complexity is lacking
October 23, 2018 - Nose: Blackberry, cherry cola, anise pickles and black pepper. Palate: Massive on entry with Blue and Black fruit, blueberry, cassis, chocolate, bit of a floral note. Very restrained oak compared to other wines in lineup. Great acid balance. Finish: Crushed blackberry, Blueberry, Cracked black pepper and some anise spice.
Great wine. Love the PS blended in with the (as usual) gorgeous cab and merlot from hourglass.

June 13, 2018 - Tasty Napa cab blend, but lighter bodied than anticipated and seemed more so the longer it was open. Enjoy it now vs. cellar.
April 5, 2018 - Pnp through a vinturri. Medium purple in appearance. There are black cherries, black berries, and some greenish plums on the nose. There are some good fruits on the palate composed of red and black berries with a slight hint of mocha. Tannins are easy going. Medium bodied with a medium finish. Had it with the ribeye and am not disappointed.
March 4, 2018 - Tasty as a stand-alone without food. A little rough but improved w 2-3 hours of air.
