September 9, 2016 - Still drinking beautifully coming up on two years since harvest. Provencal perfection in the U.S.A. Even though this showed increasing yellow tint with some air, it never dented the crisp, bright, mineral, spice and floral profile.
July 14, 2016 - Usually preferring rose from Provence, this was one of the best domestic roses I've had.
June 26, 2016 - Light salmon pink color, watermelon nose, refreshing on the palate with lively acidity, short finish. Cleanly made, more a white wine but stood up to spicy chicken. 4+10+16 +5
June 21, 2016 - Picked up weight. All together now. Delicious. Complex. Great acid Sour patch candy fruit. Yummy wine.
September 25, 2015 - From its bronze copper color to its zesty finish, there's a lot to like about this offering from TCV. We've almost polished off the case, given how many hot summer evenings we've had. Great fruit. Perfectly balanced. Not one to take too seriously. Just sip or serve with light summer fare.
September 8, 2015 - Ok , but bitter finish
August 18, 2015 - Wines At Our Table; August 23rd 2015; 8/17/2015-8/23/2015: Pale salmon color with aromas of my favorite summertime red fruits - strawberry and raspberry with hints of watermelon. On the palate it's medium-bodied with refreshing acidity and strawberry, raspberry, watermelon and mixed citrus of orange and lemon flavors with an appealing mineral note and a satisfying finish.
July 31, 2015 - Strawberry, raspberry, and cranberry driven bouquet and palate. Lively, vibrant, and tasty. The finish came up just a bit short.
July 17, 2015 - Pale salmon color. Mostly Grenache with small amounts of Mourvedre & Counoise. This is a lighter styled rose, one which provides terrific refreshment and is bright and clean. The most striking thing to me on this wine is the balance. Elegant and light melon with a serious acidic backbone. Bright and dry in the mouth, this shows some textural pedigree which exceeded expectation. I loved the initial layer of minerality before the melon gently took over the mid palate & finish. Paired with a delicately smoked speck this wine played off that smoky flavor beautifully.
Excellent rose and a QPR/value winner. Tablas Creek always delivers.
July 4, 2015 - Clean and elegant. Quite nice.
