January 23, 2011 - My last bottle of this. Sad, as the excellent bottle I tasted nearly three years ago was bettered by this one. Intense, opaque purple. Assertive berry aromas. Sweet, powerful, intense, yet with perfect balance coming from a touch of acidity. Velvet tannins. Full of energy: would have been good for another five years at least.

September 6, 2008 - My previous botlle, a year ago, was a bit tired, but this one was excellent: fresh, complex, alive. Definitely on its plateau of development, but still a real pleasure.

November 22, 2002 - Beautiful deep claret, wirh strong vanilla and a bit a blackfruit. Good attack and balance, rich and fruity, medium on the palate. Lots of concentrated flavour. Good tannins. VG+
