October 30, 2020 - Deep, dark color. Very rich with dark cherries, blueberries, licorice, olives and crushed violets. Well integrated tannins and a fan favorite at our tasting. Fresh, clean and bright syrah flavors.

May 13, 2020 - Color is dark burgundy purple and opaque. Nose is very typical with stewed fruits but earthy with graphite, flinty notes codominating. Mouthfeel is relatively heavy for this varietal. Lots of bright acidity and plenty of fruit on the palate. Poured 5oz and another 4oz an hour later.
The later pour was better balanced, though neither was very complex. Medium-light finish from the acidity was pleasant. Interestingly the tannins seemed more noticeable later in the evening, rising to a very nice level, whereas the first pour seemed less structured. Enjoyed. I stored the rest for tomorrow. -
