April 25, 2019 - Dark cherries on the nose. Flavorful blend that is fruity, smooth and balanced. Medium bodied with fresh dark fruit, smooth tannins that don’t overpower. Wonderful on day 2 as well.

May 3, 2017 - Still as it should be: a low-$20's New World Bdx blend that hits about 88-89 points. Consistent with prior notes.

February 21, 2017 - This time, I found it a bit harsh and awkward for about the first 8 hours open. The second half of the bottle was smoother and more persistent on the palate and delivered a more Bdx flavor profile than my first bottle, 5 months ago. A little more sleep in the cellar may help but I think just giving it a long decant does the trick.

September 13, 2016 - In a rare occurrence, I was quite happy with how this was doing after only an hour open. Light intensity nose that is loose and ready to play, featuring cassis and lead, followed with juniper, rose, and mulch. I don't get the chocolate and cocoa mentioned by others. Medium body and firm, juicy acidity with a soft tannic backbone. Grippy enough to avoid being candied and fruity enough to please the masses. A long, even finish really bespeaks the good lineage here. Quite lovely. Doesn't take me anywhere near Bordeaux, but it really needn't. 4+11+16+8= 89
