November 2, 2019 - Way too young. Day 2 was the best - of which my score is based on. This one has enough under the peddal to go along for a lot of years.

October 12, 2019 - Does seem a bit mute, especially on the nose, but still impressive. More depth than the regular cuvée. Lots of sour, dark cherry fruit with a variety of earthy notes and a touch of licorice. The finish lengthens significantly with time in the decanter. The tannins are rather drying, and need some time to resolve. Nice.

October 11, 2019 - Bit of funk at first whiff, blew over in 20 minutes. The fruit and aromas are good if not remarkable, but the texture and mouthfeel were a cut above. I expect this will improve with more bottle age.

August 10, 2019 - Well, I'm still impressed. A light drinker, dark in color, packed with flavor and a nice red to pair with grilled salmon.

March 31, 2019 - Even darker. Great nose but it is clearly somewhat shutdown compared to release. savory and funky on the palate. I'd keep this buried for 10 years minimum. Not a surprise that those tasting this after shutdown aren't impressed.
