March 9, 2024 - The cork did not budge as the corkscrew worked its way out. A disintegration of epic proportions then transpired, like an ancient pharaoh with bad embalming work feeling fresh air after a millennia of tomb darkness. No seepage, and we drank but something was off (shocking!) Rating withheld. My, oh, my, I have two more bottles. Hoping those corks are more corky.

January 21, 2024 - Big one, needed one hour to open up after a decant. Drinking well now but has at least another five years in it.

August 1, 2023 - Decanted and consumed over 4 hours. The bottle had a significant amount of sediment. This is a really nice shiraz, but this bottle lacked somewhat compared to my previous one. Classic shiraz perfume; dark, jammy berries and hint of tobacco. On the palate, dark berries, black olives, tobacco, meat and iron. Medium - mild acidity and tannins. Very pleasant and well made wine but lacked the velvety texture and complexity my previous bottle had.

February 9, 2021 - Amazing. Strong red and black fruits with the perfect amount of oak. Tannins are big and bold but silky smooth. Overall very surprised and will definitely pick up a few more bottles. This blew away the other napa cabs that we had in the same price range.

November 15, 2020 - Dark inky cloudy purple, fragrant violet floral nose with black and blue berry, bacon fat, "new World" peppery-garrigue (meaning more clean, fruity, absence of brett or animale); softening up, well-integrated, pure flavors with good concentration and length. Coming on line now, really nice. Duckhouse w/Yarom and group
