  January 6, 2021 - Truffle, sweet dark fruit, tobacco and herbs. Elegant and expressive palate with more finesse than power. Lovely.

  October 17, 2020 - Pnp at restaurant. Even in a soft year, NOT what you do with a regal wine...As you may have guessed, last glass best glass...Very pretty at end of bottle. I’d suggest an hr decant with proper stemware. Little mad with myself.

  August 9, 2020 - Brilliant nose that was mostly floral and red berries. Decanted for about 45 minutes, sipping along the way to measure its progress. Very elegant. Even though the 1997 vintage was not as strong as many others, this was still worthy. Just super.

  September 30, 2018 - A tinge of brick on the edge, garnet core.
  Nose is shy. Not a lot jumping out other than some bright red fruit, spice, and tobacco.
  The palate echoes the shy/tight character of the nose. Tons of tannin and a good amount of acid here. Hoping the fruit comes out with some air.
  Hard to say, probably needs a few more years to integrate further. Would wait on this one.
