Community Tasting Notes 7

December 8, 2018 - Garnet, slight clearing on edges. Nose of pepper, dark fruits (plum, cherry), brown sugar, vanilla - florals and herbs (lavender bush, rosemary). Palate introducing savoury (cured meats, roast herbs) and cassis. Generous in flavour, juicy. Medium length.

Yummy and drinking now but could go another year or two. Don't decanter.

July 21, 2017 - Crunchy Syrah nose , good lift. Plenty of mineral fruit on palate . Fresh on finish. Ready

May 5, 2017 - Some interesting flavors here, though nothing to write home about. Meh..

March 15, 2017 - Northern Rhone Blind Tasting: Clear, medium-ruby color. Secondary/primary aromas- brambly sage, blood sausage, current fruit, violets, tomato leaf. Savory on the palate- with notes of black tea, smoked meat, spices, along with cherry and plum fruit. Medium-bodied throughout, medium acid, smooth round tannin. Average finish in length and flavor depth. Solid overall for its price point.

February 22, 2017 - Very dark. In the nose dark berries, cellar and forrest soil. On the palate blackberries, a broad and deep fruit filling up the mouth, soft tannins, quite dense with a long, warm aftertaste. Very tasty!
