December 25, 2021 - Lots of tobacco and leather right out of the bottle and the fruit tasted pretty fresh. After an hour of air the fruit turned a little hot and reticent, but after another hour of air and the addition of a dry aged ribeye the fruit regained its strength. Aa with other '14s I've tasted, a little more savory than sweet. The savory notes are perfectly correct while the fruit could use a little more emphasis. I haven't cracked any of my '16s yet but I'm optimistic they have the balance just right. Overall excellent flavor and value with Christmas dinner.

December 25, 2020 - Christmas Day Bordeaux with Kathy's Turkey and all the trimmings. Nose of black berry, black cherry, allspice, and cassis, same on the palate, at peak, time to enjoy is now, medium/big body, easy to sip, savor, and enjoy with the Holiday meal, rich fruit, tasty, and a medium/long finish. February 6, 2020 - lot of potential, way too young

February 4, 2020 - Quite mature despite its young age. Lot of heavy smokiness. Oaky? Medium long finish, which is when the fruit comes out.

December 23, 2019 - I had just the one bottle and I didn't take notes, but I did enjoy it as much as some other 2014s of similar value which I drank recently.
