March 9, 2024 - Decanted and served after 30 minutes or so and tasted over several hours. This drank nicely and was enjoyed by the 4 of us. Noticably oaky with distinct vanilla notes on the nose and palate but not obtrusive. Dark red fruited and floral with some earthy and mineral notes as well. Rich mouthfeel. Bright acidity. Balanced but leaning toward the bigger end of the spectrum. Long finish.

November 21, 2023 - Consistent with my note from last May: black cherry with a hint of anise. Savory Burgundian palate. Balanced and integrated. Paired very well with the grilled Pacific salmon and vegetable tart (and also the chocolate brownies!)

January 28, 2023 - wine has settled, nice bouquet, medium body, tannin, fruit and acid not integrated, wine just not working, drank with tuna, cous cous and veggies with an olive oil, red wine vinegar and tomato dressing, last bottle but have a 2014 Louise still to drink, a disappointment but I am getting pickier these days.
