February 24, 2020 - Better than the last bottle. Nice all-around weeknight wine, genuine, lacking complexity but showing medium+ color, medium+ body, nice extraction, excellent acidity, and drying tannins on the long finish. The wine has enough structure and substance to handle many different foods. Drink up, the wine will not improve, although it will probably be fine for another two-three years.

January 4, 2020 - This is a particularly weak vintage for this wine. It has some size, extraction and balance, but lacks aromatic and flavor complexity. Even in the best years (such as 2015), this wine is slightly overpriced, probably because the mere name "Montepulciano" allows for up-pricing.
