February 11, 2024 - I've had bottle variation with this. It needed about 1 hour slow-ox in bottle before it reached its peak. Red berries, some blackcurrant, some underbrush and a little oak spices. The palate is weightless lacking a tiny bit of fruit concentration but making up for it on a decent mineral finish. I don't see this improving. The red fruit profile, medium acidity and fine tannins would make this a pretty versatile food wine. Good.

November 23, 2023 - Still pleasingly musky and perfumed. A bit hollow center and tail end. Starting to lose whatever fruit it had. Drink up.

September 15, 2023 - I agree with PhilMTL comments on this version. We had the sommelier decant this prior to cocktails and two bottles of 17 Fanny Sabre Pommard at 6&24 in The Hague. After almost two hours the wine was all youth and potential. Pronounced aromatics could not be matched by the palate. The acid and tannin are still battling it out for dominance and refusing to conform and let the fruit upfront. Did behave with the smoked and seared duck course with beetroot & blueberry. Needs more cellar time.

July 13, 2023 - Not as good as the last one. Amazing nose though: black and red berries, forest floor, some green/sauvage, smells savoury and fruity at the same time with a backdrop of leather. It was looking good... but the palate was flat and tired. I'm hoping my other bottles are more like the first one I had.

April 21, 2023 - I agree with Mr. Auerbach's note below. Black fruits on the nose, along with some evolved notes of forest floor and earth. Medium body, good acidity, tanins are mostly integrated on this bottle though and don't stand out. The savory profile stands out more on the palate. Drinks nicely and went very well with grilled pork chops and flageollets à la moutarde.
