April 18, 2023 - 5th of 6. Tart cranberry fruit. Quite tasty. Has plenty of structure for the long haul.
June 20, 2022 - Tart cranberry fruit. A bit monolithic, but tasty. I have hoped this might gain more complexity, but no sign of it yet. 2 bottles left.
May 13, 2022 - I thought this a pretty good well balanced Pinot Noir.
December 7, 2021 - Tart. Crunchy cranberry fruit with a hint of menthol.
October 15, 2021 - 100% Pinot Noir
Red, slightly bricked color. Moderately dark core, initially widened rim.
Crushed red cherry, mint, eucalyptus, sour cream. toothpaste.
Still quite structured, moderately tannic. Red fruited profile. Savory. underearth, leafy. Some cooking spice. Decent length.
Love this wine. Classic Burgundian characters. This is coming around already especially after 2 hours. Attention grabbing minty characters. This should stay at this peaked plateau around 5-10 years before approaching its tertiary stage. 92.
September 25, 2021 - Very nice, with cherries, rede fruit, forest ground, leather, a bit cranberry. Showing some of its age without losing the freshness. No need to hurry
July 31, 2021 - Impressive showing. Lots of power and depth with plenty of sappy, resiny red fruits. Fairly tart.
July 17, 2021 - No formal notes, but quite good. Expressive.
October 6, 2020 - Raspberry, cherry, sous bois; substantial, good presence and weight, already beginning to fade perhaps but with some years still, lacking some elegance, but very good and pleasing nonetheless
May 2, 2020 - A little quiet, though juicy with big tannin. Perhaps needed more time.
