May 18, 2019 - Delicious Premier Cru Pommard that was perfectly paired with duck leg confit . All that bright pretty red fruits with an amazing bouquet with layers of sous bois on the palate.

May 18, 2019 - Inviting bouquet and profile, true to place, with no lingering question. Compelling textures, serious framing acids, long and satisfying finish. Not an extended ager, but it should evolve and hold through 2025+.

August 3, 2016 - Visit to Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine (Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine, Pernand-Vergelesses): Blend of Grand & Petit Epenots (Christine finds no qualitative difference between them and blends them randomly). Spicy, rich, bold and lovely. Very tannic but not tight. Could be her best wine.

July 22, 2016 - Medium ruby color. Reticent at first, opening up a little with 3 hours of air... but still pretty closed. Notes of rose petals, red berries, some graphite and also some white pepper, as well as some sweet spices. It's medium bodied with medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Good length. A pretty but surprisingly lighter bodied Pommard Epenots but has the freshness of the vintage. It's still young and a little bit closed but somehow I'm not sure if this is going to age very long... So I would drink it in a few years on the younger side...
