Community Tasting Notes 5

August 12, 2021 - A very solid Burgundy evoking aromas of strawberries and cherries, oranges, earth and dark bread, there is also some sense of smoky minerality. The balance is excellent in my opinion, same goes for the very fine tannins that give the wine a silky backbone. Length, intensity and complexity are only average. In the context of burgundy this represents really good value though. 16/20

August 1, 2019 - No specific notes. This is a lighter style of Pinot, and it's a very good to excellent value at under $35.

March 17, 2018 - During a walkabout tasting, so only brief impressions. This was really good for its level. Typical Tollot-Beaut, light red color, lots of red fruit, stays elegant and fruity but with good enough complexity around bakery, spices. Lovely, a good Burg below 50 bucks.

June 26, 2017 - Fantastic nose of blood orange, flowers and ripe red cherries. Medium-bodied and somewhat dense with a fair amount of tannin and moderately high acidity. Could use more fruit, but might loosen up and expand with 2-3 more years in bottle. Drink 2019-2026 88
