November 29, 2023 - Open, black and red currant fruit with toast and sweet spice on the nose. Similar flavours on the palate with sturdy grip and moderate length.

May 15, 2021 - Consumed during a zoom with the winemaker. Some felt this needed more time but I thought it was drinking perfectly now. Smooth tannins, plenty of ripe fruit. Will certainly develop more with time but very nice right now. I will seek out some more bottles

August 15, 2020 - A fragrant and delicious bouquet, top layer of cassis, vanilla and roasted espresso beans, with middle and base layers of tobacco, fennel and earthy notes. On the palate, there are depth and length on a smooth texture with just some lift of acidity and tannins at the very end. The final impression is a long and complex finish. For a 6 years old bottle, this wine has good potential. Although it is approachable now with an hour of decanting, it is probably wiser to keep it for a another 3-5 years to see how far this will develop. 92-94 pts.
