August 18, 2019 - Deep dark purple red in appearance with a aromatic nose of primary red and blue fruits, cocoa powder, vanilla, cedar and a slight hint of tobacco. The palate was expectedly a bit restrained, tannic, medium-bodied, and with fairly good intensity at the initial approach but somehow lost it somewhere towards the middle as it became less assertive. The flavors include red cherries, raspberries, cassis, currants, blueberries, green herbs, vanilla, dark chocolate, cedar and a considerable degree of earthiness especially towards the finish. I only tried a glass of this very young wine at a friend’s gathering as a guest. Popped and poured when served. I imagine that this bottle would be much more interesting after 5 to 10 years of cellar time or at the very least after a few more hours of air at this instance.

April 20, 2019 - Pretty tannic still and was given a mouthful of sediment. Decant!

February 23, 2019 - 3 hour decant (mag decanter). Nose: Cassis with minerals, earth and subtle perfume. Palate: Soft tannins, black fruits and the mineral showing. Very good acidity with lots of lift. Finish is medium and elegant. While quite young this is drinking well now with a big decant. This is a classic wine with good life ahead but let it breath if you have it now.

December 15, 2018 - Medium soft red-violet. Delicious nose of spicy blackberries. Plum, crabapple, and a little funk.

November 17, 2018 - Very nice. Quite young but very agreeable. Looking forward to how it will evolve in the next years.
