Community Tasting Notes 10

May 4, 2021 - A little sour and off. Improved with time, but never quite got there.

January 28, 2021 - Confused by previous notes. This wine is consistently good and exciting with a complex nose of mushrooms, red berries, herbs, underpinned by high acidity and good length. A classic red burgundy from a classic vintage. Fabulous! Wish I had more

December 7, 2020 - Good density, a little dumb initially, missing the spice and exuberance of the Ramonet version. Drinking nicely after an hour or two. 2016 is on deck.

June 19, 2020 - Lovely delicate wine with just enough backbone to make it about perfect for current drinking.

October 14, 2018 - Medium ruby. Nose of red cherry, raspberry, sandal wood, touch of leather, vanilla. Very polished tannins on the palate. After having had some reds from white dominated Chassagne, I think that these reds are more similar to Cote de Nuits than any other Cote Beaune. Nice Burg, good QPR.
