Community Tasting Notes 2

  • SAND Likes this wine:

October 30, 2015 - Nose: A lot of blackcurrant, followed by a "fat", leathery earthiness - very nice.
Taste: Again blackcurrant, but not sweet. Structured, nice, tannins balanced by some sweet fruit. All in all slightly rustic, in a positive sense. Mature now and I see no point in further ageing of this wine.
Nice east side Bordeaux from a small producer and a very good buy at NOK 118 (Eur 13) in 2008.

January 10, 2011 - Very nicely developed. Cedar, pencil, pepper and dark berries.
Medium body, smooth, spicy and dry finish. Good lenght.
My last bottle, and the best one. Very good value for money.
