September 19, 2020 - Double decanted and finished the bottle over a time span of 6 hours. It is at or just past its peak. Lovely notes of cassis, tabacco, ceder but becoming metalic at the end.

February 23, 2020 - Took to a low key wine tasting at a friends house with sophisticated wine drinkers. Decanted for 1 hour and put back in the bottle for transport.

Drinking very well right now. Still has notes of cassis, raspberry, and blackberry along with a complex variety including pencil lead, cedar, violet, olive, tobacco, and leather.

September 3, 2019 - Excellent bottle in pristine condition. Decanted one hour. Terrific classic bordeaux nose of black currant and tobacco. The medium bodied palate is lovely with red and black fruit, tobacco and lead pencil. Fully mature but can hold for a while longer.

June 1, 2019 - Low neck fill; cork ~3/4 saturated and came out intact. Deep ruby red with some amber at edge. Blackberry and cherry nose, with a little funk that blew off after decanting for a few minutes. Started with a stewed fruit character that was concerning, but it faded and blackberry/cherry fruit came forth. Took an hour to fully open and was delicious with our meal. Fully mature and wonderful Bordeaux. Should last some years in a good cellar, although I don't expect it to improve further.

April 21, 2019 - Wonderful, still in a very good place, with slow cooked goat shanks, from Red Tractor farms, Lawrence Ks. Really Good!
