  February 13, 2015 - Whaouw nose, huge nose of bacon, herbes de Provence, roasted meat, beautiful volatile acidity… very delicate, finesse, freshness with ripe strawberries building up, finishing on bacon fat, patanera, More close to a great Burgundy, this is the Romanee Conti of Chateauneuf!!

  February 11, 2012 - Enormous and beautifull nose of cherries jam, leather, bacon... in the mouth, very ripe red cherries, bacon, feasant, very, very long aftertaste... about 60 seconds... amazing to make such a good wine in such a difficult vintage, BRAVO!!

  August 23, 2008 - Full, complex nose has tar, red and black fruits, smoke and loads of herbs. Palate is medium-to-full bodied with a balance of rich fruit and fresh acidity. Medium-long finish. Showing so well right now with complexity, power and finesse.

  September 27, 2004 - Pégaü vertical tasting (Graz, Austria): Medium brilliant garnet, dense tears. Bit dusty nose after red fruits, hint of lime. Full body, massive alcoholic, caramelized red fruit, only a minimum of acidity, fierce but velvety tannins. Long finish, massive mouth impregnating tannins, head spinning. Bit too much alcohol for me.
  
  Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 17 for taste + 8 for overall = total score of 92.
