  May 2, 2020 - Decanted 2 hours. This is in a very good place. Nice cherry/cab fruit nose, good balance, some tannin and a fair dose of oak. Not stellar but a solid Napa cab worth the money. This is a good age for this bottling.

  February 14, 2017 - Ruby red color turning crimson at the rim with a transparent edge. Attractive aromas of coffee, vanilla oak and scorched earth envelop the candied red berries in this medium-to-full-bodied red. Ripened red cherry, raspberry, tobacco, mocha, and leathery spice form the core of this pleasantly surprising drink that's balanced by vibrant acidity. Quite a pleasant surprise for a value Napa Valley red. Finishes with dusty, but finely-grained tannin in this soft, silky and elegant treat. Drink now until 2023.
