January 11, 2019 - Fresh plum, truffle, dark chocolate, and a touch of mint. Hasn't really evolved much in the past few years, and is still drinking at its peak.

December 18, 2018 - In a perfect window. An hour decant perhaps, but this is drinking quite nicely. On the nose you will detect blackberry. On the palate, black fruit, cassis and earth notes. Fantastic QPR. Enjoy.

December 8, 2018 - Just great and at peak. Stupendous value. Rich and ripe, not overdone. Ready to go. Drink now. Second night wasn't quite as good. Anyone have a connection to get me a wine of this quality for $32 today??

November 23, 2018 - Was fortunate to have found a 3 liter bottle of this wine several years ago. Enjoyed with many family members over the Thanksgiving break. Well balanced, plenty of fruit and drank well over three days.

September 16, 2018 - Wow! This is fighting way above its class. Not decanted. The nose is gorgeous and room-filling- A slight spice, but I'm completely hung up on the dark chocolate powder character and ripe rich fruit. In the mouth there is a bit of bite from the tannin but so much rich mouth-filling goodness. The finish is gorgeous, but I think it might benefit from 2-5 more years in the cellar. Right now there is nothing wrong with drinking this. It might even improve with a few more years. This is a stunning wine.
