July 10, 2016 - Napa Visit 2016; 7/10/2016-7/13/2016: Peaches and tropical fruit without the typical grapefruitiness. Very simple.

April 29, 2016 - Fermented in stainless steel (70%) and neutral French oak (30%), this is a complex white that stands above the crowd. Comprised of 100% Sauvignon Blanc, it delivers aromas and flavors of stone fruits, citrus, coriander and crushed rocks. Light-bodied, crisply acidic and without a trace of heat from its 14.2% alcohol, it is layered on the mid-palate and closes with impressive length. Those who enjoy Sauvignon Blanc will recognize this as something special. Drink now-2018.

August 18, 2015 - #WineWednesday Review; A Taste of Silver Trident: Very pale straw color with appealing grapefruit, lemon peel, tropical fruit and a hint of chalk aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied with a great texture, depth and bright acidity. It shows grapefruit, lemon peel, and white peach flavors with a mineral note and a lingering satisfying finish. Fermented in 70% Stainless steel, 30% Neutral French oak. 14.2% alcohol. Retail -$28

June 1, 2015 - Some Blind Cali Whites (My Place - Washington, DC): Very pale straw color. Aromas of white peach, white cherries, lemon and grapefruit, hints of white pepper, lemon verbena and crushed chalk. Quite creamy and rich on the palate, a honeyed texture, medium-low acid pushes back a bit. The lemon, grapefruit and white peach fruit is juicy yet tangy. Notes of chalk, quinine, grapefruit pith, honeycomb and peach pits as well, just a slight note of white pepper spice on the finish. Rich and complex yet open and accessible. 70% Stainless steel, 30% French oak.
