November 22, 2018 - Initially on open, a not-very-exciting nose of muddled red fruit and herbs. With air, come to life. This wine just doesn't seem to age. Very pure dark berry fruit, with a sappy and saline character that lasts through the medium-long finish. Plenty of (chewy) tannin and acid for several more years of aging, but delicious fruity and minerally now.

December 31, 2017 - Still quite youthful and tannic. Juicy, rich palate of dark berries, minerality, and plenty of mouth-coating tannin. Nice acidity, bit of cedar, and loads of tannin through the finish. Wait a few more years.

December 1, 2016 - Lots of red dear berries, with some spice and smoke but balanced by stoniness. Serve slightly chilled. Delicious Beaujolais

November 16, 2016 - On the advice of Mrs Foillard it was time to drink this up, so pulled it from the cellar. On the PnP, it was pretty austere on the palate like many 2013s, but after about an hour it unfurled into something really delicious: sweet red fruits and layers of this stony, rocky character. Just wonderful straight-up Bojo!

August 16, 2016 - Mostly red fruited, with some darker fruit and spice. Juicy and concentrated. Still quite young, will likely improve with some age.
