March 1, 2021 - Sweet fruit bomb, even with age. Cocktail cab. Blech.

July 25, 2020 - Fantastic Alexander Valley Cab for less than $20

December 19, 2019 - Color in glass a deep, dark opacity with minimal brick reddish-orange at the edge. Meritage blend of black fruit initially appreciated in the nose.
Sweet and velvety yet fairly horizontal mouthfeel with earthy sun-lit soil in the periphery, medium light viscosity drying out through the late finish.
Presence of nearly intrusive tannins drying the mouth that are relaxing over the first hour and which will likely be well-tempered with steak tips later this evening. To be continued:
With steak tips and mushrooms the wine’s fruit becomes more unctuous and fleshes out appreciably bestowing a silkier and less dry mouthfeel. $21.99 in Missouri that made the trip back to Maine. If you seek a Bordeaux style Cabernet based wine, despite the 14.5% alcohol level for this vintage, Dry Creek delivers.

February 18, 2018 - Currant on nose, med to full body, slight chalkiness on the finish, then lingers nicely. Not a fruit bomb

October 12, 2017 - Excellent cab served with grilled steak. I keep buying this wine and have never been disappointed.

(Dry Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon) Very dark red violet color; plum, black currant, cedar, spice, chocolate nose; tight, tart black currant, tart berry palate with medium acidity; needs 3-plus years; medium-plus finish (always a good value, complex Cabernet for the price; 14.5% alcohol; 18 months in French oak)
