August 7, 2020 - Plum colored, pleasant nose of black and red fruit, tobacco. Complex palate of blackberry, cherry, caramel, bell pepper, smoke. Full bodied, smooth finish. Wonderful effort.

What a beauty. I can still taste the chocolate. Talk about pure silk with a wonderful richness. Glorious

May 14, 2020 - The 2012 Few & Far Between CS is one of the best wines I have ever drunk. Bold floral, black fruit and crushed rock aromas came soaring out of the bottle. Decanted for 3 hours, the wine hit the palate with a complex array of black cherry, plum, licorice and cedar. Great minerality with a 20-second finish. Worth every penny I paid for it. What a magnificent wine!

March 13, 2020 - Decanted for 5 hours. What a treat!!! Luxurious aromatics of dark fruit, oak and licorice. Layered flavors of black cherry, blackberry and ripe plum fruit. Silky smooth yet firm. Hard to imagine how it could get better.

June 21, 2019 - Pop and pour. Perfectly balanced, intense single-vineyard blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The palate is focused black fruit integrated with fine tannins and medium acid. At this stage I would recommend a brief decant as it continued to improve over two hours and the last sip was the best, silky and with emerging espresso notes. Terrifically well-made wine and has the price tag to show it.
