January 10, 2021 - After being slightly underwhelmed by my first half of this, I gave this second bottle a double decant an hour before drinking and it was much better. It's a nicely balanced wine which, whilst not particularly complex, makes very pleasant drinking now.

December 23, 2020 - Lovely showing, with a smoky note riding over cassis fruit. Elegant light to mid weight frame that complements food (roast chicken) rather than dominates it. Great to have this in half bottle, but I could easily finish a 750.

September 20, 2020 - This lovely wine was really singing on day 2. It absolutely improved from the initial pop until then. Red fruited with tobacco. Simple, but the whole package and will be a delightful surprise in 8-10 years. I will try not to open any more of mine for 5

August 1, 2020 - (8/1/20) This 375ml was much further along than the one I tasted six months ago, so bottle variation might explain the differences in my experiences. This was not well concentrated, as my last one was, and the tannins were quite resolved. There is no indication that there is any cab franc in this wine, but the bright red fruits that dominated the palate were accompanied by an amount of pyrazines I would have expected from a blend containing at least 20% cab franc. On the positive side, the soft nose and palate were both very open on PnP, which was not the case with my last bottle, and there was a very long finish; 13.5% abv. (***/15/88)
