August 24, 2018 - Still an outstanding wine. Extremely complex without getting pretentious. Drinking even better now than a year ago. Dark and powerful with sweet cherries, blackberry, baking spices, some red licorice, and some earthiness rounding the wine out. What’s startling is that the wine stays deep without ever losing its elegant ethereal nature. Nicely balanced acidity. Tannins are extremely fine and lighter than the dark color would seem to hint at. There’s just a bit of milk chocolate and toffee, especially showing towards the finish. Something juicy and savory too. This is a winery I want to get back to. Definitely want more!

September 22, 2017 - After one of the best tastings I’ve ever attended, now drinking an amazing wine at a fantastic moment. Dark, tannic, deep, black fruit, balance, and a long finish that just starts to give up some earthiness on the astonishingly long finish. Finish is amazing and on the side edges of the tongue. Spice and white pepper bring this all together. Love...

October 12, 2016 - A lovely, splurge-worthy, Pinot. Nose is just a bit shy but has cherry, spice, and leafiness. Color is a gorgeous dark ruby. Palate has sweet cherry fruit and mulled berries along with a bright acidity and very long finish. Delicious wine.
