February 15, 2018 - End of the Coravined bottle. Verty tasty, with tropical fruit notes, spice, mineral. Great with pork sausage with fennel: very Austrian. Would be good with fondue as well.
September 23, 2017 - Nothing to add to recent notes from Skerry and Deux Chevaux, except that I'd drink up: the wine has a fine mature balance and seems to me at its peak.
September 18, 2017 - I love Gewürztraminer and this one is an outstanding Alsace type; bone dry with lots of tropical fruit on the nose and palate. It was the perfect companion to Chinese Sesame Egg Noodles. I wish I had opened an older bottle....
June 12, 2017 - This is nicely described in the notes below. In addition we found it very pleasantly dry (find balance out super acidity), floral, and with a pleasing touch of stone fruit pit bitterness. Fine stuff.

January 7, 2017 - Absolutely beautiful! I love Halleck wines and this one is seriously up there with the best Gewürztraminer I've ever had. Loaded with light fruit flavors, beautiful nose, nice mouth feel. I paired this with a Sesame Noodle with chicken dish and it was perfect.
September 21, 2016 - Beautiful fruity tropical bouquet. Not a typical Gewurtz but then nothing Halleck does, to me, is typical. Love this wine - had it with an Asian inspired peanut noodle and kale dish.
July 25, 2015 - White peach, cut grass and wet stone nose. Not as tropical as 2013 or as big in the mouth. Very nice nonetheless.
