November 12, 2022 - Definitely evolved quite a bit over the past two and a half or so years. Still some cherry and cherry cola, but now there’s a lot of mushroom, Forest floor, and umami. Light bodied, medium finish. Really quite nice, even though I typically prefer Athena.

May 15, 2021 - Pale to medium ruby in colour with a slight garnet rim.
Slightly restrained aromas of forest floor, stewed strawberries & subtle floral. On the palate, medium bodied tart red fruit, cranberry, red cherry, strawberry, earth/forest floor, and well integrated subtle oak with medium to high acidity & medium soft tannins.
Finish is long to spice, and this wine is balanced & definitely in the Burgundy type style, very nice!

November 27, 2020 - This Oregonian Pinot Noir is pale purple and see-through in the glass, as expected. On the nose I get a dose of cherry, some straw and strawberry. The palate is a touch spicy- ginger perhaps? The cherry flavors are very prominent but I also get red currants. The mid palate brings a shot of acidity that is really nice, not overpowering. The spice factor is no longer there, just red cherries and rhubarb. The finish is a juicy affair with the acidity really taking off. It's not overpowering, but there's a definite cut. The ending takes me back to the spice box- cinnamon and clove. Really tasty and still very young, it will drink well till 2025. 90 points from me for this $30 wine that gets 3 stars. I paired it with Turkey and stuffing!

June 1, 2019 - Pours a lighter garnet color with translucent edges. The nose is quiet, one dimensional, and dominated by mostly light red fruit.

On the palate, the wine is well balanced (and well made), but still lacks complexity. Light in body with good acidity and integrated tannins. I don't get the cherry cola thing noted by other reviewers, but pick up mostly tart cherry, strawberry, and vague bitterness. Decent length.

Completely inoffensive and acceptable wine, but the price tag just wasn't justified.

February 23, 2019 - Interesting bottle. Some cherry cola, some straight up cherry, and a fair amount of acid. Translucent—maybe they hit the press a bit hard? Overall decent, although I prefer the 2015.
