December 12, 2023 - initially fresh and elegant, like a stemmy cru beaujo or syrah, mostly red fruit but with air picked up weight and balck fruit, but also became more anonymous. still young and fresh, but im not sure i see the point.
August 5, 2023 - evolves at a glacial pace. Similar to last note, still on the younger side. Will easily hold another decade.
January 19, 2023 - In a lovely spot. Not detecting any decline. 12%
May 26, 2022 - Robe rouge pourpre, reflets rubis, densité moyenne.
Premier nez expressif, floral, pivoine, lavande. Une évolution dans le temps laissant apparaitre des notes d'élevage, noix grillées, sucre brun.
Touche suave, fruits surettes mêlés à des arômes de lavande. Tanins soyeux. Là encore une évolution vers des saveurs de cerise et une finale sur le noyau de cerise.

March 25, 2022 - Similar to last note, still so fresh and precise….
May 31, 2020 - Several years since prior bottle. Decanted 30 minutes. Amazing cherry, black cherry, a bit of aging creeping in with darker notes, mineral, bit of spice, but it's the fruit in a simultaneous rich and transparent crisp form, nose and palate. Midweight body, the palate keeps going with balanced acidity. Great with grilled pork chops, pasta salad, greens. Long life ahead, and will probably wait another three years for next bottle.
March 22, 2020 - PnP and run through a vinturi, the nose is rose and plums and quite aromatic and enticing. The palate is very balanced, with steady acidity and fine grained tannins. The palate trails the nose in impact but is still very enjoyable. Medium bodied with a medium finish.
January 16, 2020 - Consumed over two nights. Beautiful and complex. Mid body, mid+ acid, 12%
August 17, 2019 - Nez assez muet. En se réchauffant, on distingue un côté floral (rose), de la cerise est un peu de bacon... à mi-chemin entre un Morgon et un Crozes-Hermitage. La bouche est légère, très vive et un peu mince. L' acidité prend le dessus. Du fruit. Ça manque de profondeur, longueur moyenne. Moins bon que la cuvée de base (Rotaliano). Mauvais RQP. Je suis déçu. Je préfère la petite cuvée. Pour le trip, je garde les prochaines pour 3 à 5 ans. On verra si l'acidité laisse place à autre chose.
Slow-ox 6h. Bu sur une période de 3h.
May 8, 2019 - Aromas of rose petal, blueberry and lemon peel. Full body with firm, silky tannins and a long, flavorful finish. This is tight and precise. This is quite burgundian with a more ethereal flow and refreshing quality. It shows that inner density can counteract low alcohol.
