September 13, 2017 - Wonderful floral nose.
Same comments as on the last bottle. Had with Thai drunken noodles and it really worked, while taming the heat.
I usually am not partial to Gewertz but I do like this wine.
December 31, 2016 - Clay with pear and white flower notes. Some spiciness on the mostly dry finish. Detractors are a touch of bitterness on the finish and a somewhat subdued nose but otherwise well poised.
December 24, 2016 - Tasty once again! Very food friendly! Enjoyed with grilled brautwurst.
November 22, 2016 - Varietally correct, with the same clay notes that often show in Oregon Rieslings. Strong acid, lots of fruit, juicy finish. 89-90.
September 25, 2016 - Really good wine.
Orchard fruits, apricot layered with spice. Rich feel in the mouth. Pretty finish. Had with curried squash soup and it matched perfectly. Definetly a great match for spicy food.
Also Had the next night with grilled salmon and it worked well also.
