December 28, 2023 - Decanted 20 minutes at restaurant:
Nose: white pepper, eucalyptus, blackberry, faint notes of bell pepper and granite
Mouth: big blackberry, a delightful roundness from the barrel, tannins are present, but softened slightly
Finish: long, with bright fruit notes and just slightest hint of barrel vanilla. -

October 17, 2020 - At the pnp, heavy on the oak and tannins. Needed about 60 min of air to come around. Got even better at 2 hours. Quality cab fruit, briar, earthy mushrooms. It evolved into quite the wine and went perfectly with a meat lovers pizza.......
